The opening was like a dam broke releasing a gush of very sweet black cherry & saffron notes, with a definitive spicy pink pepper note. Those notes began to fade in about 10-15 minutes as the heart notes began to move into the front, and a bouquet of floral notes bloomed AND BLOOMED! The violet note came through as soft and powdery, as did the cashmere wood, giving way to the peony note that flourished with the woody & violet notes. BUT, and it’s a HUGE BUT, then the elegant, unstoppable, indomitable ROSE note burst into the room of my scent bubble like a zoomie, and sat that pink pepper note down, but didn’t make it leave because it definitely had its place in this scent profile. It was like the salt that gave a light hint of tickle to the sweet aroma of roses and soft, creamy, lightly dusted powdery violet. Imagine a beautiful choir harmonizing, then someone takes a crescendo lead vocal that stuns the audience with perfect angelic tone. Yeah, that was Lady Rose of Rosalina! I can only imagine a room of high-end long strong stemmed roses, filling the air when I close my eyes. The longer Rosalina dried down, the more Lady Rose took the lead. THEN, about 2 hours from first spray it mystically morphed into this heavenly, soft, creamy, luxurious, decrescendo of a trio lead, where Lady Rose is sitting with the 3 Wise Men who are holding rare gifts of resinous Myrrh and Frankincense, filling the air with harmonious and perfectly blended notes.…
